The Tour de France likes to pay tribute to the cycling regions, and Normandy, home of Kévin Vauquelin, is one of them, as is Brittany, which will be taking part in the July festivities for two days with the now famous finish in Mûr de Bretagne, thanks to the Tour de France. The following day, the race will start from Saint Méen le Grand, and the start will inevitably mark the centenary of the birth of one of Brittany's great cycling champions: Louison Bobet. These few days in the West will be great moments for the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, which will be racing on its home turf, and on that of its two title partners. The big start in the Hauts de France will also be a moment of great popular celebration, and there's no doubt that Florian Sénéchal from the Nord region will want to be there, as will Arnaud Démare, since on paper the first yellow jersey of the 2025 Tour de France will go to a sprinter. This Tour de France is well-designed, well-balanced and will give all types of riders a chance to express themselves. This year, the baroudeurs should be well catered for, a role that the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Tour de France team could be called upon to play, with the avowed aim of trying to win another stage in the world's greatest cycling race.
Cycling fans in Brittany, and there are many of them, but also Tour de France enthusiasts, will be in for a treat this summer, as the world's greatest race will pass through their territory twice with the Tour de France for men, and a few weeks later, the Tour de France for women. In three editions, this event has earned its letters of nobility, and last year, the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, at its own level, helped to write it. We know that our riders will have to win their selection on the ground, as they did so well in 2024. But once they're on the Tour, their determination and motivation to start the race on the home turf of our team and our partners, ARKEA and B&B HOTELS, will bring out the best in them.
