3 riders from the Continental Development will move to the World Tour

In addition to Pierre Thierry, Louis Rouland, Embret Svestad-Bårdseng and Martin Tjøtta, three riders belonging to the Continentale Développement, will join the World Tour structure of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team in 2025.

Louis Rouland

I am happy to join the ranks of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS World Tour team. This is not an achievement, without sounding pretentious, but just a path towards the highest level of my sport. I am aware that I still have work to do and a long way to go. But I know that it is within the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS training that I will be able to flourish and continue to progress physically. I will have the opportunity to discover new races, and also another way of racing. I am looking forward to next year, but I would like to thank Maxime Bouet and Léonard Cosnier who gave me the chance to turn professional within the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Development structure. A training that served as an intermediate springboard between the amateur world and the highest level of my sport. 2024 was a great year of learning where I had the opportunity to compete in some very good races. This is an ideal route for young runners so as not to rush things.

Embret Svestad-Bårdseng

It is a great honour for me to join the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS World Tour team in 2025, and especially that the sports management of this structure has placed its trust in me. My goal this season was to demonstrate that I had my place in the WorldTour. My goals will be to continue learning and gaining experience in order to, among other things, compete in a Grand Tour in the future. I will be able to take a step forward physically. I am also getting closer to one of my big goals: winning my first race in the professional ranks.

Martin Tjøtta

I am excited to be part of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS WorldTour team in 2025. It’s pretty incredible. When I was younger, I would never have imagined being a professional cyclist in a French team at the level of ARKEA-B&B HOTELS. I really like the team, I feel good here. It’s a great team with a strong family spirit. I am motivated to have a great 2025 season at the highest level, and to demonstrate great things in the races.

Four of the riders from the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Development team will join the ranks of the UCI WorldTour structure in 2025. Pierre Thierry has already joined this group since September 1st, Louis Rouland, and the Norwegians Martin Tjøtta and Embret Svestad-Bårdseng will do the same, from January 1st, 2025. Pierre is a puncheur-rouleur, while Louis, Martin and Embret are more puncheur-climbers. Their move to the WorldTour, after a year of transition within the continental-development structure led by Maxime Bouet and Léonard Cosnier, is a logical continuation of our sports policy and their progression. We have seen them evolve for a season already under our colors, we have thus been able to understand their qualities as riders but also as men strictly speaking. With both of them together we were motivated to give them their chance to reach the next level, the highest level of professional cycling.
