The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team took the podium with two of its riders on Druivenkoers Overijse: Matîs Louvel (2nd) and Jenthe Biermans (3rd).

I signed another podium on Druivenkoers Oversije. I have felt good for several weeks. Our tactic was to favor the sprint for Jenthe, and I will toughen up by attacking in the climbs during the last lap. The strongest won. I anticipated the sprint when I saw that we could not play for the victory. Jenthe is ranked third. It is not a success for the team, but it is still a good result.

Druivenkoers Overijse was as expected a race of movements, and I was in front in a group of seven, then Matîs came back on us with other riders. We exchanged in the final and for us everything was clear, I bet everything on the sprint, and Matîs who was stronger than me in the climbs could attack. The group then reduced, and our breakaway companions then did not want to ride anymore, because there were two of us from the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team in front. The Q36.5 rider, Jelte Krijnsen then went out alone. Matis rode to try to catch him, but our opponent was strong, but in addition the other riders in the group did not cooperate with us. At one kilometer, we stopped riding. Matîs attacked six hundred from the finish, he made it two and I finished third and signed my sixth podium since the beginning of the season. I think it's a great day for the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team

The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team raced very well today. We were always well represented in the breakaways, always outnumbered. I am satisfied with the way we raced. Given the large gaps that there were today, we showed good team spirit. When Jelte Krijnsen broke away about 5 km from the finish, Matîs and Jenthe, who were present in the counterattack, tried to catch him on the last climb. They were not far away, and Matîs tried to plug the gap so that Jenthe won the race in the sprint. They finally finished 2nd and 3rd. We were beaten by a stronger team than us, so there is not much to say, but I am satisfied with the work and the team that I saw today.
