Florian Dauphin wins stage 2 in Carhaix!

The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team scored its first victory today: Florian Dauphin won the 2nd stage of the Kreiz Breizh Elites in the streets of Carhaix.

This is the first victory for the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team. Today was a masterclass. Everything we said to each other at the briefing was put into practice. We had decided to send some people in the breakaway with Baptiste Gillet. When I saw that Léandre Lozouet had come out again, I decided to attack. I fell back on him. He did a great job for me. Then Pierre Thierry managed to get in on his own. The 3 of us manoeuvred well. With 2 kilometres to go, Pierre took control so that I could challenge for victory in the sprint. It was a collective success, even if the win was mine.

It's exceptional! Hubert Grygowski and Nicolas Milesi worked hard before arriving on the circuit. When we entered the loops around Carhaix, Baptiste Gillet came into action, followed by Léandre Lozouet. Pierre Thierry and Florian Dauphin knew they had to attack with 20-25 kilometres to go. After that, it was up to them. Today, we gave ourselves every chance of winning. And we succeeded.

The month of July has brought us some great sporting achievements. On Sunday, it was Florian Dauphin who opened the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement course. A success achieved in Brittany, and in the land of our partners ARKEA and B&B HOTELS. A powerful symbol for them and for us.
