The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team will be taking part in the Tour of Slovakia from 26 to 30 June.

I returned to competition at the French Professional Championships. I tried to help the team as much as I could, especially Kévin Vauquelin. It was a good start and I felt good. I'm now going to follow it up with the Tour of Slovakia. That will give me a chance to assess my condition again, this time by taking part in a stage race. I'll see how I am one day at a time. I'll give it my best shot depending on how my legs feel, or else I'll do my bit for the team and help the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS jersey shine in this Tour of Slovakia.

The Tour of Slovakia is a class 1 event. We'll be fielding a strong line-up for this high-level competition, with the likes of Soudal-Quick Step, Lotto Dstny, Jayco-AlUla and Cofidis all lining up. There will be stages on which we can try our luck, while the opening thirty-kilometre team time trial could quickly determine the general classification. So we'll have to negotiate it well. We'll be trying to play on several fronts: the general classification and stage wins. Even if it's a class 1 event, we can hope to win a stage, given the quality of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team involved in the Tour of Slovakia.
