Luca Mozzato, 2nd in the Tour of Flanders 2024, talks about a race that will always have a special flavor for him.

The Tour of Flanders is the best moment of my career, with last year's second place in the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Excalibur jersey. I remember all the great moments that marked my race in 2024. The Tour of Flanders is a monument of cycling, a tough race that doesn't do anyone any favors. Like every season, the level will be very high, with Mathieu Van Der Poel and Tadej Pogacar at the start. It remains a monument of cycling, and it's a classic which, even if it's tough, remains open to opportunistic riders. We're going to try to be in the “game” with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, and bring something back for the collective. It's a race, like all the Flandrian classics, that suits my qualities as a runner. These classics have always been a dream of mine, ever since I was young. Whether it's the Tour of Flanders or Paris-Roubaix, as soon as I started cycling, these events were races that appealed to me. The classics are sometimes open, there's a lot of movement, and my sprinting skills can come in handy. I'm happy to be at the start of these races every year.

For lovers of cycling and the cobbled classics, the Tour of Flanders is one of the major springtime events on a par with Paris-Roubaix. It's the classic that brings thousands and thousands of people to the roadside. In the mythical mountains of the Tour of Flanders, it's like being in the heart of an open-air stadium. As a rider, I loved this atmosphere, this ambiance, and I appreciate it just as much now in my role as team manager. There's stress at every level of the race, as well as passion and desire. It's a day like no other. The 2024 edition brought us great joy with Luca Mozzato's second place. We'll be nurturing our ambitions once again this year, with Luca present, surrounded by Amaury Capiot, Arnaud Démare, Miles Scotson, and youngsters Pierre Thierry, Léandre Lozouet and Gisoué Épis, who will all be discovering the passion and fervor of the Tour of Flanders.
