World Team TeamGrand Prix d'Isbergues

As in Fourmies, the UCI World Tour men's and ARKEA-B&B HOTELS women's structures will compete in the Grand Prix d'Isbergues.

Isbergues is a race that generally favors sprinters. The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team entered in this competition will have strong cards with Luca Mozzato, David Dekker and myself if it happens in a group. We can organize a good train with the help of Miles Scotson, and one of the three of us can win. We will have to be vigilant on the road part and be focused if we want, with the help of the other teams with a sprinter in their ranks, the finish to be massive once again in the streets of Isbergues. If another scenario were to emerge, we also have the riders who can respond in the event of a movement race

The Grand Prix d'Isbergues, a beautiful northern classic, is an event that is often decided in a sprint, which is why we have entered fast men on behalf of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team in this competition, with Luca Mozzato and Dan McLay who will be our trump cards.

The Women's Grand Prix d'Isbergues is a fairly open competition. I have already competed in it twice, it may suit the sprinters, but depending on the weather and the dynamics of the teams involved, we can also have a race of movements with breaks, breakaways and a group fighting for victory. I will compete in this event after the European Road Championships, and my goal will be to help the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team as best I can, and in particular our sprinter, Michaela Drummond, so that we collectively obtain the best possible result.

The Grand Prix d'Isbergues is an event that is generally won in a sprint. Since the creation of the women's event, only a few editions have seen the winner prevail in front of a small breakaway group. Both scenarios suit the riders of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team entered in this event, particularly with this fast finish sprint, on a false flat, the kind of finale that Michaela Drummond appreciates. Also of note is the presence in our squad of Clémence Latimier, an intern within our team, and for whom this will be the first race wearing the Excalibur jersey.
