The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team will be at the start of Tuesday's Tour of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, a 4-stage event for riders of all abilities.

It's a race open to riders of all profiles. We have a first stage for sprinters, then on the second day, the mountain stage with a summit finish. I hope to have good legs on that day to help my leaders as much as possible. When the course is demanding and the legs respond well, that's when I take the most pleasure in the mission I've been given. We'll have some good climbers in Embret and Louis who can aim for a good overall classification. The last two stages will be rather hilly, for the puncheurs, and we'll have to be there right to the end.

There will potentially be one or two stages that could end in a sprint. We'll be counting on Giosuè Epis for that. He'll have his card and will have to exploit it. The 2nd stage is really for climbers, with the finish at Sauris di Sopra. Embret Svestad-Bårdseng and Louis Rouland will be our protected riders for the overall classification, supported by Jean-Loup Fayolle, Baptiste Gillet and Martin Tjøtta who will be indispensable throughout the 4 days. This Italian event is renowned and interesting in that it offers us the chance to express ourselves, whatever the profile of the riders.
