Arnaud Démare will be almost at home on Sunday in the Aisne region of France for the 74th edition of Paris-Chauny.

Paris-Chauny is an event that has grown in stature over the years. The field gets bigger and bigger, and the winners more prestigious. It's a competition that motivates me, where I want to perform well and have a good sprint. I'm feeling good at the moment, but now I just need everything to fall into place so that I can put in some good sprints and get everything right. The motivation's there, plus I'm going to be racing almost at home on Sunday.

Paris-Chauny is all about sprinting. It's a race that crowns fast riders, and you only have to look at the race's track record over the last few seasons to see that. It is also attracting more and more of the big names in the sport. The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team will be built around Arnaud Démare, who will benefit from the support of a strong train made up of Dan McLay, Miles Scotson, Luca Mozzato and Donavan Grondin, riders who will also benefit from the contribution of two road captains, Lukasz Owsian and Anthony Delaplace.
