After the Grand Prix de Wallonie, the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Women's team will compete in the Tour de la Semois, on two stages that are typical of the Ardennes classics.

Looking at the route, the Tour de la Semois has two typically Ardennes stages. For this first season in the professional ranks, I was lucky enough to contest Liège-Bastogne-Liège in April, so I know where I'm putting my wheels. Recently, I was happy with my form at the Tour de l'Ardèche, where I was a team-mate. The Tour de la Semois should be a more open race and we'll have plenty of opportunities to express ourselves.

After the Grand Prix de Wallonie, we're staying in the Ardennes for the Tour de la Semois. Given the form of the group and Maeva Squiban's 7th place on Wednesday in Namur, we have several girls who could be in the running. I'm also thinking of Titia Ryo who will be on a course that suits her. It's a class 2 event but the level will be high for a race in this category, with some World Tour teams or their reserves at the start. The profiles are difficult, so it's going to come down to the pedals and we'll be approaching it in the same way as every other event: to race and to have a good race.
