Michel Ries, Donavan Grondin and Alessandro Verre extend

The Italian climber, the Reunion Island lead-out man and the Luxembourg climber have all three extended their contract with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS UCI World Tour team.

I am obviously happy to continue with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS UCI World Tour team. I would like to thank the whole team, and Emmanuel Hubert for the trust placed in me. Now it is up to me to show that I deserve it in return. This year, I know that I have taken another step forward: I went to the end of my national tour, the Giro, I obtained some results. I am focused on the off-season and then 2025 to work hard and climb the next level by being useful to my leaders and seizing my chance if it presents itself in certain races.

I will start my 4th season with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team on January 1, 2025. I am happy with this extension. Over the seasons, I have found my place and I have adhered to the philosophy of this Breton ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, its identity, and above all I appreciate the family atmosphere that reigns there. Extending is also a certain form of stability: I know the environment, I know that everyone is moving in the same direction. There is a real proximity with all the management. This framework is positive to continue working around our mountain leaders during the next season.

Donavan Grondin

I am delighted to be continuing with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, where I turned professional in 2020. I'd like to thank Emmanuel Hubert, General Manager, for the confidence he's shown in me over the last five years. This year I was able to take part in the Giro, my first Grand Tour, which I finished. It's often said that competing in a three-week event is a real milestone. I hope that will be the case for me in 2025, particularly in the role entrusted to me by the sporting directors: serving as a key element in the train of sprinters. Next year, I'm going to devote 100% of my time to the road in order to perform well in this discipline.

Donavan Grondin and Alessandro Verre are two riders who must move up a gear next year. The former in the role assigned to him within the sprinters' train, but not only, because his qualities as a track cyclist must also lead him to shine individually on the road in certain circumstances, while Alessandro Verre will be more expected on events with steeper terrain to support his leaders. The same will apply to Michel Ries who must also continue to assert himself in his role as a teammate in the mountains by being alongside riders capable of shining in this area.
