ARKEA-B&B HOTELS

Two Breton recruits: Swann Gloux and Paul Thierry

The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team, managed by Emmanuel Hubert, will be strengthened in 2025 by two 100% Breton recruits, Swann Gloux and Paul Thierry, Pierre Thierry's younger brother.

The words of Swann Gloux:

"Joining the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Development team is a childhood dream come true for me. ARKEA-B&B HOTELS is the team I used to look up to when I was racing in the young categories. It's the finest professional cycling team in Brittany, the one I've been following since the junior ranks. And from 2025 I'll be joining the continental development structure. My wish will be to learn the trade of professional cyclist. I'd like to salute all my training clubs, without whom I wouldn't be here, and Cre Actuel-Marie Morin-U 22 for all my years at the highest amateur level. My profile at that level was that of a puncheur. The other big advantage of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team is that it allows us to continue our studies while still being able to compete at the highest level of our sport. As for me, I'll be going to Rennes at the start of the new academic year to do my first year of a master's degree in STAPS. Sport and study are a good balance for me, and what's more, university is not far from the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team's racing department."

The words of Paul Thierry:

‘I'm very proud to be turning professional on 1 January 2025. I'm becoming a professional cyclist as soon as I leave the junior ranks and, what's more, I'm joining the only Breton professional cycling team in the peloton, ARKEA-B&B HOTELS. I'm going to find out more, but I know that I've got two seasons to adapt to this new sporting world, which gives me plenty of time. I'll also be able to benefit from the advice of my brother Pierre, who was a rider in the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement continental team this year. My qualities as a junior were rouleur and climber. I'm going to continue to work on them, perhaps focusing more specifically on my climbing skills. I'd also like to say a special thank you to OC Locminé, the club with whom I've spent some great seasons and who have helped me get to where I am today.'
