Yvon Ledanois: ‘We saved the day’.

The 4th stage from Norcia to Trasacco was particularly intense. The rain that accompanied the riders for a long time gave way to wind at the top of the day's main difficulty, Valico de Crocetta. The second half of the race was marked by a number of curbs. Kevin Vauquelin managed to ‘save the day’ and maintain his 6th place in the provisional overall classification.
