Norwegian like Martin Tjøtta, 21-year-old Embret Svestad-Bårdseng has already been through the professional ranks. In fact, he distinguished himself at this level of competition in 2023, finishing 14th in the Saudi Tour. More of a stage race rider, he also finished 8th in the Tour de l'Avenir in 2023. Joining the UCI WorldTour team in 2025, after a season with the continental development structure, Embret put in some remarkable performances in his first season in red and black, in 2024, including a fourth-place finish at the Lombardy Espoirs.
