The Strade Bianche and Tirreno Adriatico are the first two WorldTour events on Kévin Vauquelin's 2025 race programme.

I'm going to do a good block of Italian races at the start of the season. It will start with the Strade Bianche, a classic that I discovered last year. I immediately loved its beauty and the difficulties it presents. It's also televisual. I rank it very high in my career. It's a warrior's race that demands as much of you physically as it does mentally. I'll follow it up with Tirreno Adriatico. Last year, I finished top 10 overall in this stage race. This season, I'm coming back to this event with higher goals. I'm aiming for a good overall classification, by being at a better level than last year, while still managing to ride some good stages. Team ARKEA-B&B HOTELS is lining up for this week-long WorldTour stage race with a strong squad. The aim for this edition of the ‘Course des deux mers’ will be to achieve good results both individually and as a team.

The Strade Bianche and Tirreno Adriatico officially launch the season of major races in Italy. ‘The Strade is the race to watch at the start of the year, because of the drama it offers, the landscapes it crosses and the history that goes with the route, with that magnificent finish in Siena. For the riders, it's not all postcard scenery, because the Strade Bianche are merciless, not only because of the increasingly difficult course on offer, but also because of the difficulty of riding on the white roads. Those who take the top places are always great riders. Kévin Vauquelin can and wants to get closer and closer, and he will be well surrounded in this first Italian round to do his best. Tirreno Adriatico will be his second Italian objective of the year, with the mission of doing even better than the top 10 overall finish he achieved in 2024. The Tirreno Adriatico is an event that could suit him, with its difficult finishes and individual time trials.
