Coming from mountain biking, a discipline in which he was crowned French champion in the junior ranks, Clément Champoussin subsequently switched to the road with success. 4th in the 2019 Tour de l’Avenir, this climber quickly found his feet among the professionals. Winner of a stage on the roads of the Tour of Spain 2021, second that same year in the Ardèche Classic, the rider from Nice is, at 24 years old, among the great hopes of French cycling. His first season in Brittany resulted in some great performances, including a stage success from the Arctic Race of Norway.
