Emmanuel Hubert: ‘This season has been one of premieres'
Emmanuel Hubert, General Manager of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS teams, reviews the 2024 season and looks ahead to 2025 with Julien Carmona, Chairman of Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, and Marine Charles, Managing Director Western Europe of B&B HOTELS.
Julien Carmona:
"I would like to congratulate Emmanuel Hubert and the riders in our three World Tour, Women's and Development teams on a fine 2024 season. I'd also like to thank all the members of the staff and management team, who play a decisive role in both individual and collective performance.
The season that has now come to an end will have a special place in our shared history, as it saw the team score its first ever victory in the Tour de France, thanks to Kevin Vauquelin. It's a magnificent achievement, given the ever-increasing competition in the peloton, and one which I hope will inspire others.
The 2025 season promises to be an exciting one, and should enable our teams to shine on many different fronts. The men's and women's Tour de France will be returning to Brittany and the team will be able to count on strong popular support. I hope that the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team will continue to provide us with great sporting thrills and that it will continue to grow at the highest level, in particular by giving young talent a chance."
Marine Charles:
"2024 will go down as a great year for our Arkéa-B&B HOTELS team. We have experienced some powerful moments that have marked our season, such as Kévin Vauquelin's feat during the 2ᵉ stage of the Tour de France in Bologna. This victory reflects the determination and daring of our cyclists, as well as the collective strength of a passionate team.
As we look ahead to 2025, our logo is proudly displayed on the Excalibur kit of the riders in the World Tour, Development and Women's teams. This jersey is much more than a cycling outfit: it's a new suit of armour that we can't wait to see in action to proudly represent the employees, hoteliers and customers of B&B HOTELS, throughout France and abroad."
