Emmanuel Houcou took 9th place on the velodrome at Paris-Roubaix in his very first appearance in the event.

L'Enfer du Nord lives up to its name! I didn't enjoy myself very much today, but paradoxically I did have a good time. I wasn't surprised by the difficulty of the race, which was chaotic. For my part, I managed to get through the drops. A top 10 finish for my first Paris-Roubaix in my career is still decent. Obviously, I'd have hoped for better. But I think I held my own. I'd like to thank all the staff at ARKEA-B&B HOTELS développement. We were put in superb conditions with the mechanics and the sports assistants. It's this combination of forces that has enabled me to achieve this performance in this 2025 edition of Paris-Roubaix.

We had all the hazards that make up this classic: crashes, various problems and Emmanuel who finished 9th. We'd come here to do better than that, and Nicolas Milesi was a big disappointment in the final as he and Emmanuel were in a counter group behind the two frontrunners. He was feeling good. Tactically, I can't fault the riders. The race went just as we'd imagined. Things took a turn for the better in the final, and that was good for Emmanuel who had Nicolas with him. The final result is a bit disappointing, even if there were a lot of good things to take away from this Paris-Roubaix Espoirs.
