Kevin Vauquelin, who kicks off his season this weekend, has a special bond with this event, which marks the start of the season in France.

Marseille is the home of “my dearest and dearest”, Maxime Bouet, but I also feel a passion for this competition because of the attachment of my trainer, Kévin Rinaldi, who was born in the region. I love the Grand Prix de La Marseillaise, because of the route proposed by the organizers. It will also be my first race in 2025, and my aim will be to get the season off to a good start, both individually for me and collectively for the whole ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team.

It's one of the best races of the year because it was my first professional victory. I love racing it, and will do so for as long as I can in my career. I always go to this race with a bit of a thrill.

The Grand Prix de La Marseillaise has been “THE” race for me since I moved to this region and turned professional. I know every inch of the route. I've never won it as a runner, but I've helped some of my team-mates to do so, like Amaury Capiot. I remember the moment of happiness we shared at the finish. Amaury too has since fallen “in love” with La Marseillaise. Kévin Vauquelin has been around for a few seasons now, and this winter he and his coach, Kévin Rinaldi, did a recon of this Marseillaise 2025, which will finish in Luminy, and which I hope will shine in the red and black colors of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team.
