As in 2024, Kévin Vauquelin, well supported by his ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team-mates, takes second place in the Flèche Wallonne.

On the ligne “I had tears at the finish. In the last few races, I've had some difficult moments, especially this weekend at the Amstel Gold Race. I just couldn't get back up to my level. Given the field for this Flèche Wallonne, I told myself at the start that a top 10 finish would be really great. And to repeat my second-place finish of last year behind Tadej Pogacar, but ahead of Remco Evenepoel and Tom Pidcock, frankly, I couldn't have dreamed of much better. I'm stunned, to put it politely. I was well placed at the foot, thanks to my team-mates. There was a break, then it came back. I saw Tadej attack, and I managed my effort. I saw Remco get stuck, and then Ben Healy attacked. Unlike last year, I didn't delay. I gave it my all. Am I savoring this second place in a row? Not just yet. I will later when I see my team-mates from the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, because if I'm in this position, it's thanks to them”.
