Cristián Rodríguez extends his contract until 2026

Having joined Emmanuel Hubert's team in 2023, Cristián Rodríguez, who recently finished 13th in the Vuelta Ciclista a España, has extended his partnership with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team by two years.

I'm delighted to be extending my contract with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team for a further two seasons. I've found my sporting and personal balance with this very family-oriented team. They trust me, and my race calendar is really set up to suit my climbing profile. I had two great first years with the team, marked by a participation in the Tour de France and a fourth place on the day of Kévin Vauquelin's victory in Bologna. I finished 13th in the Vuelta Ciclista a España in 2023 and 2024. I've made a lot of progress in the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team over these two seasons, and I intend to continue along the same path in the next two. I enjoy doing the general classifications in the one-week stage races, but also in the Grand Tours.

Cristián Rodríguez has found his feet in two seasons with ARKEA-B&B HOTELS. A consistent performer, he is capable of achieving good overall placings in the major stage races on the World Tour calendar, as well as in the Grand Tours, as demonstrated by his two 13th-place finishes in the 2023 and 2024 Vuelta. Cristián is a solid climber who will continue to bring us a lot over the next two seasons, because these days he's also capable of being a zealous team-mate, as he demonstrated this year when he helped Kévin Vauquelin to success in Bologna. It was a fine team effort that he rounded off with a promising fourth place on a stage of the Tour de France.
