The day after the first rest day of the Tour of Spain, Simon Guglielmi takes 11th place in the 10th stage. Cristián Rodriguez is still 12th in the provisional general classification.

At the start of the race, the ARKEA - B&B HOTELS team gave itself the means to be at the front with Cristián Rodriguez, Thibault Guernalec and Laurens Huys who were in the first group. We did not manage to take the breakaway but what I remember is that we tried. At the end, Simon Guglielmi came to join the bunch sprint to play for a top 10. He finished 11th. We are not far. Overall, the day was positive with very good behavior from the collective. Cristián is still in the game for the general classification. We continue to move forward.

It was a difficult day. From the first kilometers, it was fast and the peloton broke into several pieces. Once the breakaway formed, it regrouped. In the last climb, Education First put a big "screw" into it. I was distanced at first. I hung on as much as possible until the summit thinking about the top 10 and I managed to switch with the peloton to go and fight for 7th place. I finally finished 11th. I am a little disappointed with my sprint because tenth place is just ahead. Overall, it was still a good day. The feelings are good. I think that we will have, in the coming days, opportunities to seize because the ARKEA - B&B HOTELS collective is performing well. Everyone is giving it their all. We are bound to achieve great things.
