Having escaped during the 8th stage, Mathis Le Berre repeated the feat on Wednesday during the 11th stage. He finished 26th. Cristián Rodriguez finished with the red jersey group.

Once again, the breakaway took a long time to form. We each took turns. I seized the opportunity to get out and find myself in the group at the front. Once again, the level was high. I hung on all day. I didn't make any mistakes. Like during the 8th stage, I was in a breakaway that was playing for the win. It's very hard to manage to catch them but it's also thanks to the work of the other riders of the ARKEA - B&B HOTELS team that I succeeded. When I was an amateur, I could feel the blow when it came out. I kept that (laughs). Today, it was decided by pedaling.

Mathis Le Berre had the courage and strength to go in this beautiful breakaway where there were some very good riders. This is the second time since the start of the Tour of Spain that he has found himself at the front. He gives himself the means to play at the front each time. I hope that he will soon be in a breakaway where he can express himself a little more to hope to get a result. The rest of the ARKEA - B&B HOTELS collective focused on Cristián Rodriguez who finished with the red jersey group. He loses a few places in the provisional general classification but we are moving forward. The Vuelta is still long with very difficult days until the last days
