I believed in it of course! It was a good day for a "Finistérien" with the weather we had this Wednesday on the 17th stage of the Vuelta, and that's all that suits me. I love this type of weather. Given the technical finale, I told myself that having a head start could perhaps play a role, there were quite a few roundabouts, a wind that was tailwind. I told myself that it could be a good day for the breakaway, with a small number of riders in front, and that the sprinters behind would control. It started off quite quickly, as always, and once in front, I tried to manage as much as possible during the stage, to give it my all at the end. I believed in it, but we lacked that little something, or fifteen more seconds when arriving in town, to be able to play for the victory. It's only a postponement, there are still some great stages to go in this Vuelta, and we will all continue together to give our all.
