Ewen finished 9th in the general classification of the Tour of Guangxi. This is his first top ten - 9th - in a UCI World Tour stage race, at 21 years old, which is not insignificant. A collective result because the entire ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team was involved in finishing the 2024 season well in terms of the World Tour calendar. Ewen had a complicated summer following his injury, but he was able to remobilize perfectly to obtain this result. He was very motivated here. I usually say that when you finish a season well, you approach the next one well. In China, I saw a motivated and united ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, like the work done by Mathis Le Berre in the finale in Nanning. Élie Gesbert made good efforts that must have reassured him. The riders took their responsibility in the finale of this final stage, and that is the right attitude. Matîs Louvel will take 5th place at the finish.
