The Druivenkoers-Overijse semi-classic will be contested by the classics riders from the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team.

The Druivenkoers-Overijse is an event I like and one I'm very happy to be returning to. I finished fourth last year. It's a tough course with lots of bumps. This race is also a circuit race. There are seven laps to cover, including the last passage with the Moskesstraat. The Druivenkoers-Overijse generally offers a lot of movement and added to the layout this generally makes for a great competition. We'll have a big ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team at the start in Overijse and this group has what it takes to achieve a good result in this fine semi-classic on the Belgian calendar.

The Druivenkoers-Overijse is a race that our riders know and love, as Florian Sénéchal and Matîs Louvel, who start on Friday, have already won it. Not forgetting Jenthe Biermans, 4th here last year, and Luca Mozzato, who often does well in Belgium. Also of note is the presence of Giosuè Épis, a member of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team, who will be discovering this race on the Moskesstraat, the cobbled hill that graced the route of the Road World Championships in Leuven in 2021.
