This Wednesday, the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team will start the ZLM Tour in the Netherlands, an event designed for rouleurs-sprinters.

I think the ZLM Tour is a race that suits me, especially with the 14.7-kilometre opening time trial. It suits my qualities. The courses can be exposed to the wind. It's never very easy, but I like the edges. We'll be a young team at the start with the addition of David Dekker, a very fast sprinter, who we'll be working on.

We have a good team of routiers-sprinteurs. The ZLM Tour is a great class 1 event. The time trial should give Baptiste Gillet and Nicolas Milesi, our two specialists, a chance to test themselves against slightly tougher opposition and to see where they stand with just a few days to go before the national championships. We'll have two fast riders with us: Giosuè Epis and David Dekker, reinforcements from the World Team. We'll have to take it one day at a time. The stages are flat and exposed to the wind, with the risk of tacking. This corresponds to our training cycle within the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team. Jean-Loup Fayolle, soon to be 19, who has more of a climbing profile, will be there to learn and broaden his range of skills on terrain that isn't necessarily his own.
