The climbers of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team will be at the start of the Lombardie Espoirs this Saturday in Oggiono, for their last meeting of the season.

I prepared for this Lombardy Espoirs with a training camp in the South with the riders of the World Tour team. We worked hard and I hope it will bear fruit. It is one of the classics of the season that best suits my profile. There is a first part on a relatively flat circuit then the difficulties will follow one after the other, starting with Madonna del Ghisallo, one of the highlights of the Elites course. The Lombardy U23, even if it is only the Espoirs version, is a legendary race and it motivates me to finish my first season among the professionals on a good note with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team.

We are approaching the final weekend of races for the ARKEA B&B HOTELS Développement team, which will be punctuated by participation in two great classics, the Tour of Lombardy Espoirs on Saturday, and on Sunday, Paris-Tours in the same. Two great competitions to conclude our first season at this level. In the Italian event, we are lining up our climbers and we will have a truly homogeneous squad. That is our strength. Embret Svestad-Bårdseng, Louis Rouland and Jean-Loup Fayolle are all capable of shining on Saturday, as is Baptiste Gillet who is coming off a good Tour d'Eure-et-Loir. They have shown throughout the season that they are capable of doing so. We have been able to respond to the mountain races so far. We will have to rely on our team to finish in style.
