Münsterland Giro is a race on paper for sprinters, but between theory and the terrain, there can always be gaps. We will have to be careful in any case throughout the race, because even if the course was designed with such a sprint outcome in mind, we are at the end of the season, with riders in disparate physical condition. There are some who are always in better shape than others at this time of year, and their objective will undoubtedly be to dynamite the race so that the sprint scenario cannot happen. I know that I competed in this race five seasons ago, and that the race had been dynamited precisely by the non-sprinters. If we want to sprint, it is up to us to give ourselves the means and to be vigilant throughout this competition

Münsterland Giro is a race for sprinters. Moreover, the field of fast riders in this event will be very dense. The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team will be built around Arnaud Démare, who will have his train around him with Dan McLay, Miles Scotson and the contribution of David Dekker, and Florian Sénéchal. The course of this event, which is contested over 202 kilometers, a distance that is not neutral, especially at the end of the season, also offers some hills such as the Klein Reken at the very beginning of the race, the Coesfiel, Darfeld and Nienberge, the latter being located just a few kilometers from the finish line. Strategic places on which the riders of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team will have to be vigilant, in particular, Pierre Thierry and Thibault Guernalec if a race of movements were to take shape at these moments.
