Pierre Thierry will discover the World Tour peloton at the Grands Prix Cyclistes de Québec and Montréal.

I'm delighted to be taking part in my first two World Tour events with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, the Grands Prix Cyclistes de Québec and the Grands Prix Cyclistes de Montréal. These are two superb events at the end of the season, where a lot of champions want to be. I'm really looking forward to discovering these two races and to competing with the best in the world. They're two events that I often watched on television when I was younger, they're two important end-of-season classics, and what's more they take place on the American continent. I've prepared for these two races, and we'll see how it goes for a first for me at this level.

The Grands Prix Cyclistes de Québec and the Grands Prix Cyclistes de Montréal are two fine WorldTour classics contested in Canada. They are contested on the kind of wide roads that are often found over there, and are generally ridden ‘à la patte’, as they say in cycling jargon. Quebec City is more suited to ‘puncheur’ profiles. This first round of the two Canadian classics should also suit Clément Venturini, who has been in excellent form this summer. These will be our two main cards, and both will be able to draw on the experience of Anthony Delaplace and the current good form of Matîs Louvel. Montreal is a little more difficult, and on paper it's a good match for Ewen Costiou. It's typically a race where he has the means to express himself this year or in the future. Élie Gesbert is also entered for Quebec and Montreal, as is Pierre Thierry, who will be contesting these first two World Tour classics with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team.
