Team ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement will be taking part in the Kreiz Breizh Elites from Saturday to Monday, the second Breton stage race on its calendar this season.

I've just come off a course organised by the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS training team in La Plagne and then I extended my preparation on my own in the Pyrenees. The Kreiz Breizh Elites will open the final part of the season for me. The course is similar to that of the 2023 season, at the end of which I finished 3rd overall, with the difference that there won't be a time trial this year. So that suits me a bit better. With the team we have at the start, we'll have the means to achieve great things. We'll have to ride intelligently if we want to aim for victory.

The route is made up of 3 hilly stages, the last of which has more than 3,000 metres of ascent. The race will take place on our roads in the Brittany region, and three riders from this region will make up the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team at the start on Saturday. Florian Dauphin, Baptiste Gillet, Pierre Thierry - who is okay following the examinations he underwent after his crash at the Tour of the Aosta Valley - and Léandre Lozouet will be on terrain that suits them well. We'll have to be very careful because the race is likely to be unbridled. Only a good team can make the difference. As always, we'll be keen to shine at home.
