Élie Gesbert has not been spared from health concerns, or falls during races, in recent years. The most recent, his iliac artery operation, which kept him away from the pelotons for many weeks, and reduced his 2024 season, in a way, to a blank year. I believe that Élie Gesbert has finished eating "his black bread" and that in 2025, he will return to the level he was at a few seasons ago. Élie is a rider who has great qualities, particularly as a puncher, and it is this that he must rediscover from next year, by doing everything possible to become fully competitive again, then by being able to play for victory as often as possible in a second phase.
