Top 10 for our Belgian duo at the Samyn!

Jenthe Biermans and Amaury Capiot took 4th and 9th place respectively in Dour, thanks to the commitment of the entire ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team throughout the race.

I think we saw a great ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team today and I'd like to thank all my team-mates. The tactics were to get me in the best possible shape for the sprint, with Florian Sénéchal and Luca Mozzato doing a great job in the final kilometres. Our young riders from the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team also worked hard beforehand to make the effort and ride behind the groups that could come out. Maybe 3rd place was within reach, but the front group was even stronger, so I'm quite happy with 4th place today.

The race scenario was just as we had imagined. Victory came down to a small group sprint. We had to deal with a few moves in the race in the final laps. The riders from the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team, Baptiste Gillet, Swann Gloux and Emmanuel Houcou, were called upon to control the race. They were very good and their work deserves to be commended. In the final, our 4 Flandriens were there for each other, with Florian Sénéchal and Luca Mozzato taking turns on the board for Jenthe Biermans and Amaury Capiot. The podium was not far away. Jenthe finished 4th, Amaury 9th. Amaury could certainly have hoped for better, as he had to make a few efforts to get back after a puncture. Good collective result today on the Samyn. I'd like to remember that we saw a group of classicmen, united and ready to stick together for each other.
