Cristián Rodríguez showed off the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Excalibur jersey at the front on the roads of the 19th stage of the Tour de France.

It was a great day for me. I was able to get into the breakaway and I felt good on this mountain stage. But there was a good level in the mountains. The peloton was always in control and never let us get more than four minutes ahead. I'm happy, I've got a good feeling. I want to carry on like this, and in the meantime I'm going to make the most of this great day at the front on the queen stage of this Tour de France.

Cristián Rodríguez rode a fine stage. He took part in a breakaway with some strong riders. He finished 16th at the top of Isola 2000. Arnaud Démare gave it his all on this stage with more than 4,500 metres of climbing. Arnaud went all the way, and insisted on crossing the line even though he was out of time, because for him, ‘you don't give up on an event like the Tour’.
