Walloon, Flandrian cobblestones, bumps from the Walloon classics and in particular from Liège-Bastogne-Liège will be on the menu for the riders of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS training during the Tour de Wallonie.

I am coming out of an altitude training course with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team to prepare for the end of the season. I am going to resume competitions during the Tour de Wallonie, a competition that I know well having competed in it many times already. My goal is to get back to my best level, I have good feelings. I hope to be able to achieve good performances on the Walloon roads. The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS collective engaged in this race will be strong and homogeneous. Some stages may suit me, on others I will put myself at the service of my teammates. My goal is really to make the red and black colors shine at the end of the season.

The Tour de Wallonie offers five stages. We will present a very homogeneous team with Louis Barré who made a good start to the Tour des Apennines. Florian Sénéchal who is feeling great again and will be very motivated to run in Belgium. We also have Laurens Huys who is Belgian, and therefore who will play at home, as well as Matîs Louvel who lives in Liège. There will be stages for punchers-sprinters which may also suit Clément Venturini, others more typical of “classicmen” with paved Walloon and Flandrian sectors, and in particular Vieux Quaremont, otherwise these are routes taken on Liège-Bastogne -Cork. The Tour de Wallonie is a difficult and high-level event, but one that we are going to approach with enthusiasm.
