Axel Bouquet, Baptiste Gillet, Swann Gloux, Emmanuel Houcou, Nicolas Milesi, Baptiste Poulard and Paul Thierry won the team time trial at the Circuit des Plages Vendéennes in Challans on Saturday, 2 days after Emmanuel Houcou's sprint victory.

This win today, two days after Emmanuel Houcou's victory, gives us confidence. It shows that the work we put in during the winter training camp with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team is paying off. The team time trial is a bit of a novelty for me, as I didn't get much chance to do it in my junior years. The team showed great cohesion. We're now focusing on the final event tomorrow, which will bring these Plages Vendéennes to a fine conclusion.

I'm very pleased with the riders from the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team and proud of their performance. They rode at an average speed of over 53 kph on the circuit around Challans, in the wind and on a wet road... They were very involved in the approach to the time trial and in the preparation. They worked hard and it showed: it was technically very clean. We ended up with almost the whole team. That's not the aim of an event like this, but it shows the homogeneity of the group involved here.
