Valentina Cavallar finishes 4th in the Alpes Grésivaudan Classic at the top of the Col de Chamrousse.

Finishing 4th in the Alpes Gresivaudan Clasic is great progress. The final of this competition was difficult with a series of attacks, but my teammates from ARKEA-B&B HOTELS and I had a great team race. I would like to thank them, as well as the staff, for their involvement. I felt good throughout the race, but when the winner of the event attacked, we looked at each other a bit, and then it was too late to catch up with her.

From the start of the race, the runners from the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team showed determination by being present in the breakaways. Maeva took the first one that formed. This is an encouraging sign for his return to competition. In the finale, all the favorites were there. We took the initiative in the last descent to ride in favor of Valentina, but that was not enough to rule out all the best climbers. Valentina learns quickly, progressing with each race in which she participates. I would like to highlight the excellent work of the entire ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, the runners were exemplary and dedicated throughout the race.
